What is BSL VRS?
BSL VRS allows you to speak with us in British Sign Language using a qualified interpreter. The interpreter joins your video call, then phones our surgery and relays the conversation – signing to you and speaking to us. This ensures clear communication and full accessibility.
How to Use the Service

- Start a video call – a qualified BSL interpreter will join.
- The interpreter calls our surgery and interprets both ways (BSL ↔ English).
- Finish your conversation – it’s that simple!
